Question
FAQ

What should I do if burrs appear or the cut is not smooth during cutting?

It may be that the focus position is incorrect, the nozzle is damaged, the air pressure is insufficient, or the cutting parameters are unreasonable. It is recommended to check the optical path focus, replace the nozzle, and optimize the parameter settings.

Cutting through non-transparent materials?

Check if the laser power is set correctly, the focus is not offset, or the material thickness exceeds the equipment capabilities.

Cutting accuracy decreased?

It may be caused by worn rails, contaminated lenses or loose racks. It is recommended to clean and calibrate the equipment regularly and check the rack stability.

Is there fire or smoke coming out of the cutting head?

This is usually due to improper auxiliary gas selection or insufficient gas pressure. The gas type (such as oxygen, nitrogen) and gas pressure settings should be checked.

Uneven weld or porosity?

It may be related to the cleanliness of the material, the laser parameter settings, and the shielding gas flow rate. It is recommended to clean the welding surface first and then optimize the welding parameters.

Laser not emitting during welding?

Please check whether the laser is started normally and whether the power supply and control lines are connected correctly.

Insufficient laser energy leads to weak welding?

This could be due to improper power settings, deviation in the laser light path, or contamination of the device lens.

The welding head is shaking or not positioned correctly?

Check whether the equipment fixture is firm and the motion control system is accurate, and calibrate the control program if necessary.

Is the marking position deviation large?

There may be an abnormality in the positioning system or the workpiece is not firmly fixed. It is recommended to restart the software and recalibrate.

Is the laser light source power decreasing or unstable?

Aging or damage of laser gain media (such as crystals, gases, semiconductors) leads to reduced luminous efficiency.

The laser light source power suddenly fluctuates or jumps?

The power supply is unstable, with voltage fluctuations or electromagnetic interference.

Is the laser light source spot deformed or the divergence angle increased?

The gain medium has a significant thermal lensing effect (insufficient cooling or too high power), causing the beam to diverge.

The pulse width or energy of the laser light source is unstable?

Failure of the mode locking or Q switching system results in disordered pulse timing.

Laser temperature is too high?

The cooling system is clogged (water pipes are scaled, filters are dirty), resulting in insufficient flow.

There is no laser output when the laser light source is turned on?

The power module is faulty and does not provide the voltage required by the pump source or control circuit.

Abnormal alarm when the laser light source is started?

Sensors (such as temperature and current sensors) fail and report abnormalities by mistake.

Shortened service life?

Failure to perform regular maintenance (such as cleaning the lens, replacing the coolant) will accelerate device aging.
