Product Intro
Laser chillers are special refrigeration equipment used to cool laser equipment (such as fiber lasers, CO₂ lasers, solid-state lasers, etc.). Its core function is to remove the heat generated by the laser device during operation by circulating low-temperature liquid (usually water or antifreeze), maintain the temperature of the equipment stable, and ensure the laser output power, beam quality and equipment life. Compared with ordinary chillers, laser chillers have the characteristics of high temperature control accuracy (±0.5℃ or even ±0.1℃), strong flow stability, and anti-electromagnetic interference.

Core Refrigeration Principle
Laser chillers mainly use vapor compression refrigeration cycles, which are similar to air conditioners. Heat transfer is achieved through the following four stages:
1. Compression stage: The compressor compresses low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant vapor into high-temperature and high-pressure gas.
2. Condensation stage: The high-temperature and high-pressure gas enters the condenser, dissipates heat through a fan (air cooling) or cooling water (water cooling), and liquefies into high-pressure liquid.
3. Throttling stage: The high-pressure liquid is throttled by the expansion valve and becomes a low-temperature and low-pressure gas-liquid mixture.
4. Evaporation stage: The mixture enters the evaporator, absorbs the heat of the circulating water, evaporates into steam, and cools the circulating water; then the steam returns to the compressor to complete the cycle.
Type
Cooling cycle process
Internal circulation: low-temperature water flows out from the outlet of the chiller and enters the heat-generating components of the laser equipment (such as the laser pump source, crystal, and optical fiber). After absorbing heat, it returns to the chiller evaporator and circulates again after cooling.
2. External circulation (only water-cooled type): The condenser takes away the heat of the refrigerant through external cooling water (such as water provided by the cooling tower) to achieve heat dissipation.
