Single platform fiber laser cutting machine

The single-platform fiber laser cutting machine uses a fiber laser generator to generate a high-energy-density laser beam, which is transmitted to the cutting head through an optical fiber. After being focused by the cutting head, the laser beam is irradiated on the surface of the workpiece, causing the metal material in the irradiated area to melt and vaporize instantly. At the same time, the cutting head moves along the pre-set cutting path, and its position is precisely controlled by the CNC mechanical system, thereby achieving the cutting of metal sheets.

Laser generation system

It includes fiber laser, power supply and cooling system. Fiber laser is the core component that generates laser beam; power supply provides stable power for laser; cooling system ensures that laser works at a suitable temperature to ensure its performance and life.

Mechanical transmission system

It is usually composed of a workbench, a gantry, guide rails, screws, gear racks, servo motors, etc. The workbench is used to place the plate to be cut, and the gantry drives the cutting head to move on the workbench. The guide rails, screws or gear racks ensure the accuracy of the movement, and the servo motor provides power to achieve rapid positioning and precise movement of the cutting head.

Cutting head

It is the executive component of cutting, focusing the laser beam to a suitable spot size and irradiating it to the workpiece surface. The cutting head is generally equipped with an automatic focusing function, which can automatically adjust the focal length according to the thickness of the plate. It is also equipped with a gas nozzle for spraying auxiliary gases such as oxygen and nitrogen to improve the cutting speed and quality and blow away the melted and vaporized metal residues.

CNC system

As the control center of the equipment, it controls the collaborative work of the laser generation system, mechanical transmission system and cutting head through programming or importing CAD graphic files. The operator can set cutting parameters such as laser power, cutting speed, gas pressure, etc. on the human-machine interface, and can also monitor the cutting process, perform fault diagnosis and alarm prompts.
