Guide auxiliary gas: gather auxiliary gas and form high pressure, release it to the surface of cutting material and cutting seam. During the cutting process, high pressure gas can blow away the melted and vaporized base material produced by cutting, keep the cutting seam clean, and also help cool the cutting area and reduce the heat affected zone.
Protect the internal components of the cutting head: prevent slag, smoke and other pollutants from rebounding upwards and entering the interior of the cutting head, thereby protecting the internal optical lenses and other precision components and extending the service life of the cutting head.
Type
Single-layer nozzle: The gas flow rate is relatively slow. It is often used for cutting stainless steel, aluminum alloy, copper and other metal materials. Nitrogen is generally used as the auxiliary gas.
Double-layer nozzle: The gas flow rate is fast, suitable for high-speed cutting, and is often used for oxygen cutting of carbon steel. Since oxygen and carbon steel will undergo oxidation reaction during the cutting process, the cut surface will usually turn black due to oxidation.
